Thousands of thoughts go through people's mind each day. Most are negative or bad-feeling, consisting of worries, fears, dislikes, and grievances. Dr. Debbie will show audience members how to use hypnosis to naturally practice the Three Legs of Mindfulness. Audience members will experience trance and post-hypnotic suggestion. Participants will learn how to: 1. Stop (Ordinary) Thought, so that we quit fighting with life, and become open to a different quality of awareness. 2. Switch on Higher Thought: As Dan Siegel says in The Mindful Brain, "Instead of being on automatic and mindless, mindfulness helps us awaken, and by reflecting on the mind we are enabled to makes choices and thus change becomes possible." 3. Guide Thought Toward Better Outcomes: Research on neuro-plasticity has established that the brain continues to change, to rewire and reshape itself throughout life. We can easily and quickly change the way we think and behave through the practice of hypnosis.
