Employee Empowerment Did you ever walk into a Doctor's office or any other types of businesses and the first person to greet you was such a bad representative of standard business ethics or general business standards that you promised never to return to that business ever again, "as long you live"!!! That happens daily for thousands in America. The "I will never go back to that place ever again" mindset is generally because an employee feels like they are not really part of the organization they work for other than the paycheck they receive. This negative mind set is passed on to customers and clients and generally goes on without the knowledge of the employer or managers. Commonly this is the fault of the management structure of the organization and the lack of empowerment of the employees that work for the organization. It is the lack of understanding that Employee Empowerment is a must for the workplace of the future and a trend that is increasing as the millennial workforce enters the older corporate workplace structure. Understanding these structural changes occurring in corporate structures throughout the United States is important to the future of global business. Understanding that empowerment of the person that is answering your phones is business marketing 101, that a customer service representative who loves their workplace is business marketing 101, that empowerment of the sales person who is interacting with your customers or clients is business marketing 101 and is the key to success for your business. Also understanding that empowered managers will empower employees to "Lead to Succeed" in their business and personal life. Empowering your employees makes them part of the management and growth team in your organization, they care more about customer or client relations and they perform at higher levels and they become an integral piece of the puzzle for the growth of the bottom line of any business. Most organizations define themselves as a strict hierarchy where those that are managers manage and those that are not managers have no management stake in the company. This is a very unfortunate and outdated look at a corporate structure for the future. When employees believe they are an integral part of the company and management structure of the company, bottom up teamwork occurs propelling the company to new heights increasing the ever important bottom line. Wayne splits the groups into management and employee groups to work through issues of the work place, then groups are combined over and over during the seminar so all issues are discussed and solved bringing empowerment to all employees and managers.
