The attack on USS COLE (DDG 67) in the port of Aden Yemen was a defining point for the U.S. Navy. Occurring 1 year prior to 9-11, the attack ushered the Navy into the modern terrorism age. This presentation will give the day to day events with the hour by hour successes and massive challenges. It will include the geopolitics of the region and how the US Military responses to a crisis.
