During a lifetime, all of us will experience some level of tragedy, possibly even trauma. The result can be devastating, and at worse, can tear a life apart. But, it's possible to rebuild what had been damaged or destroyed into something new. The ideal way to begin is to approach the project as you would when building a house; there are plans to design, materials to acquire, and skilled trades and workers to select. We would never build a structure alone, and the same holds true for making a new life after acute hardship. Each step of the process, and every person we partner with plays a vital role in the construction process. In the end, once complete, the surprising truth is that a new life might end up even stronger, more resilient, and brighter than our previous life.
As a result of this keynote, attendees will learn:
The essentials for creating a blueprint for a new life.
The steps of constructing a new after trauma or tragedy.
How to live in true connection with those in your community.
