Blake LeVine, MSW has led a remarkable life. This talk shares his amazing life story. It focuses on his tough childhood. It then speaks about his experience as the world's most famous autograph collector. At 14, Blake was invited into The White House to meet President Bill Clinton. His first book was published at age 15. He then became very ill with bipolar disorder. He was place in 5 psychiatric hospitals over two years. Blake's family was told he would live forever in a group home or hospital. With prayer and medical treatment he slowly rebuilt his life. He would go back to high school part time. He would end up going to college and obtaining his Masters Degree in Social Work. Blake has become one of the leading educators about bipolar. He did a national tour with Dr. Drew Pinsky reaching over 2 million young people. He has educated at over 30 chapters of The National Alliance on Mental Illness and The Depression and Bipolar Support Alliance. He currently runs BipolarOnline.com. This free online education is leading the way for educating youth about mental health. Blake now has the most amount of YouTube videos teaching about bipolar. He has had over 150,000 views to his YouTube clips. His website has reached readers in over 180 countries and it continues to grow. Blake has written the published books Beating Bipolar, Depression ,Bipolar and Heroin, The Psychology of Adult Coloring, The Positive Worker, Like Mother, Like Son and he has three books about to come out. This talk is not only inspiring but shares hope. How does a sick boy end up accomplishing so much? Is there hope for other seriously ill children? Blake has been married for over 11 years and has two beautiful children. He was engaged on The Dr. Phil Show where he proposed to his wife. Blake also invented Rap Therapy while in graduate school. It teaches inner city youth to write song, dance and art about their lives. Blake completed a documentary titled Rap Therapy with The Salvation Army. It features 50 Cent, Diddy, Ludacris, Russell Simmons and Reverend Run. This talk will uplift anyone in attendance.
