An entertaining and collaborative workshop facilitated by Dr. Bob Baker, in which physicians and other practitioners share and capture the procedures, strategies, and techniques they use in their own offices and clinics to give their patients the best possible office visit experience. In addition to facilitating and encouraging teamwork and participation, Dr. Baker will share his insights and ideas for improving patients’ and doctors’ experiences. These insights are available in greater depth and detail in his book, “The Performance of Medicine: Techniques From the Stage to Optimize the Patient Experience and Restore the Joy of Practicing Medicine.” At the start of the workshop, Dr. Baker will engage his attendees in a discussion of what the patient experience actually entails, and why it’s so crucial to focus on in today’s medical setting. At the conclusion of this workshop, physicians, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants will leave with multiple action items they can start to employ in their practices immediately. Dr. Baker will follow up with all attendees, so that they have all the ideas, tips, techniques, and suggestions that were captured during the workshop. Dr. Baker will also be available to attendees for further questions and discussions following the workshop.
