Effective communication in the workplace is essential to maintaining productivity and profitability. However, today's workforce is more unique than ever. Employees come from a variety cultures, countries, backgrounds and generations. While this variety can be fabulous, it can also become a problem when everyone has a different communication style. A communication style includes what they say, how they say it, what means was used to convey it, what body language was used, and just as importantly, how message was heard. This course teaches the art of communication for today's workplace environment. Employees learn how to communicate effectively, address minor issues as they arise, listen effectively and how to resolve the big problems when they arise.
