The world is in constant motion, so if we’re not moving forward, we are moving backwards. And status-quo is the same thing as moving backwards. If we are to move forward then something must change. Yet change is a scary place for many. We would rather take an adverse devil-we-know rather than potentially beneficial unknown. In this program of entertaining and informative keynotes/breakouts and expanded program for workshops, Moe will introduce Changistics – The Logistics of Better Change, including the Triad of Successful Change (Plan, Communicate, Execute). A crucial and often overlooked component of change is communication. How, when, where and what we communicate, both verbally and non-verbally goes a long way towards creating an impression and assumption as to our trustworthiness. This program will borrow from Moe’s communication-oriented themes (i.e. CHART and aviation) as well as from an unlikely source; improvisational comedy. A key activity which everyone (regardless of audience size) will actively participate is the “Memo Me” exercise. Clarity is key to eliminating misconnects and disconnects as well as faulty and frequently injurious communications. This program is designed for any organizational environment which looks to improve teamwork, increase engagement and embrace change to successfully propel its initiatives forward.
