Story: I experienced domestic abuse as a well-educated, professional woman–something that I had never expected, and was not prepared for. I have learned that nobody is immune to suddenly being on the receiving end of extreme cruelty. Through my presentation, I help young adults and professionals stop reacting to the feeling of embarrassment and start untangling the issues that needs to be untangled. Tone: Thoughtful and tailored toward the audience (I do read the room and adjust the tone accordingly). Target audience: College students, professionals. [There is also an option geared toward nonprofits and immigrant rights organizations.] Format: The program can be delivered as a presentation or an interactive workshop.
