Small Business Sponsorship for Speakers
How to Make 6 Figures a Year as a Speaker With Sponsorship
Guest: Julie Austin
This was a 60 minute teleseminar which took place on November 01, 2018 at 12:00 p.m. Central Time
Sponsorship has been around for centuries, but modern sponsorship is still in it's infancy. Most of the big corporate dollars go to large properties like music and sporting events, and there are only about 18,000 of them in the US. But there are over 25 million small businesses and they are eager to get into the sponsorship market thanks to the new experiential trend. Julie Austin, former TV sponsorship director, and author of the new book "From The King's Court to Kickstarter, Patronage in the Modern Era" is an advocate for small business sponsorship for speakers and artists. She's been in the sponsorship industry for over 20 years and now runs a site called Speaker Sponsor, a directory for speakers seeking small business sponsorship. Julie teaches street smart sponsorship from trial and error experience.
