Villa is a dynamic, inspirational, and engaging speaker. Her goal is to engage both the left and right side of the brain for her audience. To do this she incorporates fun, facts, and flow into all of her presentations. Her area of expertise is: the neuroscience of mindfulness in the workplace, mindfulness as a tool for managing change & transition, and mindfulness for personal development. Who Villa is and the gifts she brings are a synergy of her education, her two decades working & training in Corporate America, and her current journey of professional and personal growth.
Villa is the C.E.O. of Transformation Pathways, Inc.: the parent company of her speaking, writing, audio, and coaching enterprises. She earned her B.A. in Political Science at California State University Northridge, and her M.Div. at Fuller Theological Seminary. She is also an author and recording artist. The same fun and engaging authenticity that is a part of her speaking style is infused in her book: Thirty Day Journey Toward Transformation and her Personal Development Meditation CD: Transformation Foundation
The “gift of gab” has been with me all my life. My elementary school reports cards spoke of me doing well with my grades with this additional caveat: Villa talks a lot in class. This of course was not news to my Mother; I talked and talked the whole time I was at home.
As I matured and entered high school, I was able to begin using my “gift of gab” to advise, encourage, and support my friends and acquaintances who reached out to me for assistance. This “gift” continued to grow and develop and I looked for opportunities to serve. I eventually went to seminary and became an ordained Methodist minister. Ministry in the traditional church was not for me, on the other hand, I have been able to transform my “gift” into assisting men and women with creating and living their best lives.
“Life and death is in the power of the tongue”.
The above quote from sacred wisdom literature is my guide. When I speak I choose to impart life. It is my passion to be of service to individuals and groups. I enjoy sharing tools that empower, and equip my audience to transform their thinking and inspire them to act in ways that transform their lives, families, communities, and the world!
How may I be of service?
