Timothy Bremer has the unusual combination of being both the child of a parent with a major handicap and the parent of a child with a major handicap. Other significant parenting experiences, such as having six children, a child surviving pediatric cancer, and losing a different child to suicide, create a unique perspective. This provides a seemingly endless well of stories surrounding caregiving, grief and persistence providing a way to help navigate significant life changes. Although the stories come from a parent child-perspective, they speak to survival--which applies to all of us.
Timothy is an engineer, is married, and lives in Minnesota. In his free time, he enjoys participating in Toastmasters, playing music, gardening, and playing with his kids.
