Storyline was founded by Jess Kovatch in 2017. After nearly 20 years in service, including 10 years with the Walt Disney Company, he began seeing a pattern in consumer buying trends and the service industry as a whole. The customers of tomorrow are looking to be engaged on an emotional level and, with a background in the arts and a passion for storytelling, our strategy for great customer service was born. There are millions of great brands and products in the world and we believe that every company deserves the same opportunity to connect with their audience and truly shine. When paired with our leadership techniques which create a culture of engagement and service, teams can love the work they do and who they do it for.

Jess has worked throughout North America and Europe and managed training curriculums in multiple languages. He has experience in the technology, food service, and hospitality industries and has created customer service experiences for incredible brands like Disney, Marvel, and Star Wars to name a few.
Jess lives in Kelowna, BC, Canada with his wife Amanda and his two boys, Parker and Asher. He loves reading, theatre, and film, travelling whenever he has the opportunity.
