Starting with my father’s business, I have had first-hand experience with the unique challenges faced by business owners in leading and growing small family-owned businesses as well as those faced by Fortune 500 companies. Prior to becoming an Advisor to Business Owners, I was a Captain in the U.S. Army, VP HR with Texas Instruments, and VP HR &Division President with Pella Corporation. I am a proud Rotarian and I serve on several boards including Genesis Elevator Co., Frisco Chamber of Commerce and ManeGait Theraputic Horsemanship Center - a non-profit organization.
I hold a B.S. in Accounting from Arizona State University and an MBA in International Business from the University of Texas at Dallas. I havebeen named Coach of the Year in North Texas for 2007 and 2008, was recognized as BrandCOACH for the Americas in 2009 and was recognized as the 2009 Entrepreneur of the Year by the Frisco Chamber of Commerce. I have assisted in starting multiple new business ventures including a residential elevator company, and oil & gas investment company, a commercial janitorial company and a restaurant among others.
I published my first book, Tour de Profit - a 52 Stage Race to Grow Your Business in 2011 and will publish my second book, The Ultimate Business Tune-Up currently scheduled for release in February 2016.
