Sean is a Marine Corps Gulf War veteran who's career path took an abrupt turn shortly after returning to the US from the Gulf in 1991 when he was involved in a serious hit and run motorcycle accident. Sean's leg was amputated as a result of the accident and he was unable to continue his military service. Since the accident, he has worked in healthcare at the Mpls. VA Medical Center, led a work team managing the City of Bloomington's (MInnesota) Community Center, served as a Long Term Care Ombudsman advocating for seniors and veterans in nursing homes and memory care facilities and is currently working as a senior investigator in the regulatory arena for the State of Minnesota. As a supervisor, Sean further developed his skills in conflict resolution, strategic messaging and team building. This diverse employment background and Sean's life experiences brings unique perspective towards life and to the workplace - perspective that Sean chooses to align with positivity and professionalism. Sean will bring you along on his journey, touching on communication, tact, integrity, teamwork, conflict resolution, respecting the chain of command and mental strength.
