Michael is an internationally award winning public speaker who got his start doing stand-up comedy in Northern California back in 2005. Since then he got into the theater world and has performed in plays, sketch, improv, and also written and directed projects. With degrees in psychology (undergrad) and in communication (masters), he has both an academic and also a real-world background in public speaking as well as various forms of performance. During his senior year of college, Michael worked as a suicide hotline counselor...which isn't the best place to be if you are a comedian! Michael enjoys giving presentations covering scientific research in positive leadership, which is an eye-opener for schools, churches, service organizations, corporations, and associations. This is a topic that really resonates and makes you think, which is why it is so fun and necessary to share! Michael also has given talks about leadership and job satisfaction, specifically how it functions in groups and organizations. When not traveling and doing speaking events, Michael works part time as a professor at East West University in Chicago.
