Mark Oristano had a 30-year career in sports broadcasting, including stints with the Dallas Cowboys and Houston Oilers, which included broadcasts of two Super Bowls, and hundreds of other games. He was part of one of radio's most famous morning shows for 20 years. He's also a noted stage actor in Dallas, where he lives. And for 21 years he's been a volunteer at Children's Medical Center. It was there that he met and shadowed one of the world's top pediatric heart surgeons, Dr. Kristine Guleserian, with whom he wrote the Amazon best seller, SURGEON'S STORY: Kids, Transplants, the Red Sox, & the Glass Ceiling.
Mark's presentations are filled with his unique brand of humor, as well keen insights into the topics he addresses. He is also one of a very few people who has broadcast a Super Bowl and held a human heart. (Not at the same time!)
