Justin Neumann is currently employed as a Sergeant with the Mankato Department of Public Safety where he has served since 2003. Justin is a graduate of Gustavus Adolphus College and earned degrees in Psychology and Criminal Justice. Justin also possesses a master's degree in Security Management with a specialization in threat assessments, risk analysis, and protective studies. Justin is a Certified Homeland Security Associated Level III (CHPA-III).
Justin is an Adjunct Professor of Law Enforcement at Minnesota State University-Mankato and an Adjunct Professor in the School of Criminal Justice at St. Cloud State University. In addition, Justin is also an instructor for Northwestern University’s School of Police Staff & Command, an instructor for the Upper Midwest Community Policing Institute (UMCPI), and an instructor for Hibbing Community College. In addition, Justin owns and manages a security consulting firm entitled Neumann Protection & Consulting, LLC, that specializes in active shooter prevention and response, workplace violence awareness and prevention, threat assessments, and executive protection planning.
