Monica Brown has 25 years of experience in the field of mental health. Monica obtained her Associates of Arts and Bachelor of Science in Psychology degrees from Campbell University and furthered her education by obtaining her Master of Arts in Counseling degree from Webster University. Monica is currently completing her dissertation for the Doctorate of Philosophy in General Psychology from Walden University. Monica is licensed as a Professional Counselor and provides individual, family, and couples counseling to active duty military service members, to include special forces soldiers and their families. Her population includes children, adolescents and adults as she has a wealth of experience in these areas as well as culture diversity. Monica Brown is an active women’s advisory board member for the NC Center for Economic Empowerment and Development, an alumni of the 40 Under 40 class of 2014 and an active member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated.
