Michele Thompson is Founder and CEO of Bright Effects Learning Solutions, a national organization that provides innovative learning solutions to Fortune 500, private, and nonprofit organizations. Through her persistence, passion, and perseverance she has fueled the growth of Bright Effects Learning as a recognized leader in learning and development. She has formed strategic business partnerships with global organizations such as BBVA Compass and Bank of America. Michele is a proud member of the Greater Women's Business Council, Georgia Minority Supplier Development Council, Association for Talent Development, and eLearning Guild. She enjoys traveling around the country meeting with clients and sharing her unique brand of expertise on leadership, entrepreneurship, management, executive leadership for women, and diversity. She is an MBTI certified practitioner. She has an MBA from Kennesaw State University and a bachelor’s degree in Organization Leadership from Mercer University as well as multiple certifications for learning and development. Prior to starting Bright Effects Learning, her job titles included VP of Sales/Training for BB&T Bank and Wealth Financial Advisor for Wells Fargo.
Michele is a proud supporter and sponsor of Volunteer Match, AIDS Walk Atlanta, and Human Rights Campaign (HRC). She volunteers her time raising funds and providing mentorships for young adults. She is a native of Long Island, NY but moved to Atlanta because of the city’s reputation for business opportunities and lots of sunny days with no snow. She enjoys hiking through the gorgeous Georgia landscape, cycling, kickboxing, relaxing with yoga, and learning new songs to play on her guitar.
