Matt is passionate about communication which fosters change. Unfortunately, a great deal of our efforts would fall short of this end. We fill space. We get a chuckle. We create a feeling. Change is a much more difficult goal. It entails relationship, risk and sustainability. Matt speaks first and foremost as a development coach, intent on both generating personal epiphanies for those within earshot AND working to connect that epiphany to everyday practice. His communication style is engaging, witty and inspiring as he sees himself as a compelling storyteller which elicits formation rather than deposits information. Most often he speaks in regard to the elements of leadership which are universal, exploring questions such as “Why is Fear So Powerful and Is There Remedy?”, ”How Do We Actually Become Better at Something?”, and ” What Would Compel Me to Contribute More Passionately to An Organization Than My Job Description Requires?” He gets energy from helping individuals move past the clutter and find clarity which enables them to express their life in meaningful, collaborative work.
In addition to facilitating speaking, facilitating workshops and coaching leaders through his firm "Catalyst Coaching", Matt leads the recruiting and employment development department for a commercial construction firm in Atlanta, Georgia.
