Biography

Kathy Klotz-Guest, MA, MBA, is a speaker, storytelling strategist, workshop leader, author, and comedian. Founder of Keeping it Human, her mission is to help companies kill jargon-monoxide and boring marketing, and bring ideas to life. Kathy built marketing and communications for a number of companies in her 20-year career and has 20 years' experience telling stories from the comedy stage. A trained improviser and stand-up comic who performs regularly, she is also the author of ‘Stop Boring Me! How to Create Kick-Ass Marketing Content, Products and Ideas Through the Power of Improv.’ She has worked with diverse organizations including Cisco Systems, United Way Silicon Valley, Autodesk, Kaiser Permanente, and InfoQ to humanize storytelling, customer service, and marketing. She has been published in Convince&Convert, MarketingProfs, Ragan.com, and Huffington Post. Kathy has spoken at conferences including Content Marketing Conference, SXSW, Visual Storytelling Institute, FunnyBizz, and Social Media Marketing World. Her 8-year-old thinks she is hilarious.
