Julie Clark Lingen is a national award-winning author, speaker, life coach, entrepreneur and lover of life. You don’t have to be around her long to feel her warmth, love, joy, kindness, laughter and passion.
Julie’s passion for life comes from learning she is living 50% at-risk for one of the world’s cruelest diseases—Huntington’s Disease—a rare, incurable degenerative brain disease that threatens to cut her life and future short. Since then, she has become more determined than ever to live life to the fullest and inspire others to do so as well with a reminder that none of us know what the future holds. Life is short for all of us and we need to get to living or life will pass us by. By openly sharing her personal story, she’s on a mission to give others their Wake-Up Call NOW, before it's too late, to inspire them to make positive changes to finish life strong and have fewer regrets in the end. Multiple audiences have said it’s a life-changing message we all need to hear, with a life-altering question we all need to ask ourselves: Are we fully living or letting life pass us by?
Julie’s national award-winning book: Inspirational Coffee Breaks for Women: 12 Ground Rules for Pouring Your Heart into Life, captured the hearts of readers across the country, becoming an Amazon.com bestseller and being named a finalist in the prestigious National Best Books Awards from USA Book News which honors the most outstanding books in the self-improvement genre. It also received the National Indie Excellence Award recognizing the "best of the best" in book publishing. It’s a dose of inspiration for the heart and soul. Julie's highly anticipated 2nd book titled: Inspirational Coffee Breaks with Dad: Lessons from the Heart of My Unsung Hero is being released in 2018. It's an inspiring tribute to her dad, a disabled Purple Heart Vietnam veteran who, after 40 years of silence, started opening up to her about his experiences in the war, including being critically wounded and fighting for survival on Hamburger Hill. Julie's dad passed away last year and now his stories and life wisdom live on as a gift and guide to us all. This book honoring her dad is an inspirational reminder of the power of the human spirit, inspiring others to discover their own hero within by living each day with more courage, confidence, resilience, positivity and compassion.
