Lou, as he is often called, has a long history of speaking. He is a retired educator and a military veteran. During his time in the service. Lou a Vietnam veteran taught: Methods of Instruction, Adjustment of Mortar and Artillery Fire; Escape and Evasion Tactics.
Lou received two letters of commendation from President Clinton for his writing about the 1995 bombing in Oklahoma, a prized possession.
Lou is comfortable speaking to a group large or small; Whether the speech is on Black History, Leadership, a Motivation Speech or an Inspiration speech, you will be happy with the outcome. His Keynote speeches will be remembered for a long, long time.
He joined the Toastmasters to learn how to better organize and present his speaking program. As a Toastmaster, he was able to polish and deliver his speeches at another level. During the 2009 – 2010 seasons he was president of Valdosta Toastmasters and the club earned the Presidential Distinguish Award. The club did the Speech Craft Program; as a result of their efforts, a new Toastmaster club was formed at Moody Air Force Base. Under his leadership the club exhibited motivation, inspiration, and leadership.
He is a warm encouraging speaker that uses story telling and years of experience to make his point, stories that will bring you to the edge of your chair. You will laugh and sometime cry, but you will certainly get the message.
