International speaker, life coach and author, Dr. Lorneka travels the world inspiring audiences on how to become brightly awake in their mind, body and soul. Inducted in the 2016 Miami Dade College Alumni Hall of Fame, Dr. Lorneka believes that we are called to prosper and be in good health. She believes that everyone has a unique assignment and that we are to brighten our lives and the world with our gifts and talents.
Dr. Lorneka completed her education at Florida A&M University in Tallahassee, Florida where she received a Doctor of Pharmacy degree. She is a certified professional life and wellness coach. Dr. Lorneka has published for Women Own Excellence magazine, LIVE magazine and featured on the cover of Purpose Driven Women magazine on the topics of wellness, success, relationships and faith.
Dr. Lorneka is an award recipient of the Allen Entrepreneurial Institute and National Science Foundation. She is also the current director of personal development for the 2018 Miss Bahamas Universe queen.
Dr. Lorneka especially enjoys teaching and empowering others to develop their purpose and live their best life now. An advocate for community, Dr. Lorneka traveled to Haiti with the AIDs Health Foundation (AHF) where she tested and educated 1500 Haitians on World AIDS Day.
Founder of Brightly Awake - coaching and consulting company, Dr. Lorneka guides her clients and audiences through the process of identifying hindrances, healing effectively and developing new strategies for success in every season.

Dr. Lorneka is the author of Right Things, Wrong Season. A book written for millennial women on how to tap into wholeness that will propel them into a life of freedom. When she's not coaching, you can find Dr. Lorneka at home watching The Good Doctor, Seinfeld, swimming on the beach, cooking or spending time with loved ones.
