10 Things GREAT Sales Leaders Don't Do!
Details about book coming out this fall (October): Despite all the sales training materials, sales tools, and sales experience, many sales leaders still struggle with some basic concepts. That struggle leads to behavior which negatively impacts company growth. The ideas and practices you’ll find in this book are common knowledge, but not common practice. The purpose of this book is to identify those thoughts, behaviors, and attitudes that hinder the ability of the sales leader to effectively execute during sales cycles. Most of these activities happen in consultative or strategic selling situations, so you don’t see this behavior as much when there is limited to no interaction with the prospect. This book was written for sales leaders—those who are leading or influencing major sales efforts. A sales leader can be an official member of a sales team (i.e. Account Executive, Sales Manager), or someone that works with the sales team (i.e. General Manager, Product Specialist), or it can be an individual that is now responsible for business development efforts (i.e. a business owner, or a partner at a consulting or law firm).
