Clint Day founded three business in Florida and Georgia, and was self-employed for 30 years. After selling his last business, he turned to helping others start their own. He earned an MBA in entrepreneurship, an AACSB business school qualification, and five entrepreneurship certificates before starting the entrepreneurship program at State College of Florida. He also wrote the entrepreneurship quick study guide found in most college bookstores as well as two books about how to startup your own business. Clint is a strong believer in entrepreneurship as a solution to a large workforce shift underway because of automation and the Gig Economy. Knowing entrepreneurship can be taught and learned, he believes every U. S. adult needs training in the field to succeed. He spreads an awareness of its value through the non-profit, Entrepreneurship Resources, Inc.*
As two-time Vietnam veteran and Bronze Star holder, Clint is above all a patriot. He supports veterans and active duty personnel by teaching them entrepreneurship, participating in the USO, and supporting Hire Heroes USA, the American Widow Project, and the Vietnam Veterans of America. He is a terrific Memorial or Veterans Day speaker who shares his experiences from the Vietnam War, veteran students success, and the opportunities available in the United States. One of the reasons veterans make such good entrepreneurs is their military training, including teamwork and leadership.
