Chris Daltorio, aka “CD” is best known for customizing sales processes to maximize a company’s revenue and sales forces selling skills with his virtual training platform, Virtual Velocity. His OUTSTANDING virtual training & live corporate seminars have helped increase the revenue of small businesses, entrepreneurs and Fortune 500 companies in the technology space, legal industry, health care, pharmaceutical, finance, retail, direct sales, telecommunications and more.
Chris grew up in Pittsburgh, PA cheering on the Steel Curtain dynasty of the Steelers in the 70’s. After high school, Chris headed north to New Wilmington, PA to attend Westminster College. While earning BA in Business Administration and Marketing with a minor in Economics, Chris captained the golf team and qualified for the NAIA championship four years running for the Titans.
After graduation, Chris combined his passions for business and golf by working for Slazenger Golf. During his 11 years as a Slazenger sales professional Chris racked up seven Sales Rep of the Year awards. His success led to bigger and better things over the next five years, including running a sales division of Adidas and ultimately being recruited back to Slazenger to serve as their new President and CEO. His leadership led to the successful sale of Slazenger to Dick’s Sporting Goods in 2007. Soon after he started a company in the sales training industry to share his trade secrets with others. His small boutique sales training practice has transformed into the global sales training leader, New Velocity, LLC.
Chris has lived in Cary, NC since 1995 with his wife, Vicki, and their five children. On the weekends he loves getting away with his family and friends to their vacation home on Lake Gaston. Chris continues to enjoy the game of golf, serving on the golf committee at Prestonwood Country Club. Chris also serves on various executive boards including a tech start-up and is currently on the board for a leading bank in the Research Triangle Park area.
Chris is continuously driven to improve, no matter what his pursuit, and his drive has been rewarded by a successful business career as a corporate leader. He is passionate about getting better, and helping those around him do the same, which makes him the perfect President & CEO at New Velocity.
