Q1: Overall, how was your experience utilizing the SpeakerMatch Job Board to find a speaker?

A: The system is easy to use and I had no trouble navigating the applicants through the portals.

Q2: How was the quality of the applicants who applied to your listing? Overall, did you feel the applicants met the criteria you outlined in your listing?

A: I was lucky enough to have a problem of too many great applicants – it was hard to narrow the field and select one!

Q3: Of the applications you received, what kinds of things in the teaser/headline of the application drove you to want to open the full letter of application? What kinds of things in the teaser/headline of the application made you skip over reading a full letter of application?

A: I actually read in full each application despite the headlines. Some applied although they were not a match to the content desired.

Q4: Of the applications you received, what kinds of things in the letter of application stood out in a positive way? In a negative way?

A: The speaker we selected stood out far and above the rest because of 1) content match 2) enthusiasm 3) energy level and 4) the personalized audition video specific to us even though I did not ask for that.

Q5: Would you use SpeakerMatch again to help you find a speaker?

A: Definitely! I liked that the service kept me on task as far as going through applications and asking for input. The speakers are outgoing and many reached out to me, which was also great.

In July 2018, this organizer posted an open call for speakers on the SpeakerMatch Job Board.
