Look at your thumb my friend, yes, before you read on, look at your thumbprint specifically please. What do you see? Do you see your unique design? If you look closely you will see a miraculous matrix of lines completely unique to you. No one that has ever lived before you, currently, or after you will share this feature with you. You are truly one of a kind. You have a specific thumbprint to make an imprint on the world you live in, an impression that only you can make. Through your talents, and gifts you have a specific, and unique purpose for this world. So the question is do you believe this statement? Your answer is the difference between living a life of mediocrity, or managed average, and living life with vibrancy, unlimited potential, and abundance. Design, in the context of health, and happiness begins with your beliefs. What do you ultimately believe about your potential in these areas, can you create optimal health and peak performance? Can you receive happiness during your day no matter what circumstances youre facing? To design is to think, plan, and create in your mind first, and then take action on that design, and build the reality you desire. The focus of this website is designing your life, spiritually, emotionally, and of course physically. Before we look at a practical solution to design and empower your day to day life, lets eliminate your lifes default button! Default Living Many people live by default believing they have no options or alternatives to their current circumstance. They have bought a lie that they have no options, no choices, and are self confirming to just get by or survive another day. They live with the attitude that the only possibility is the probability that nothing will change, and even potentially get worse. This attitude, or their lack of [respond-ability] self responsibility perpetuates a cycle of waning belief in themselves, and their purpose. When a person succumbs to focus daily on what they cannot do, verses viable options on what they can do, they become emotionally and physically enslaved to a false hopelessness. This growing hopelessness leads to brokenness, despair, doubt, and a poverty of health, and our joy. Living by Design Creating a lifetime of health, fitness, and happiness isnt about statistics, it is about a process, a system actually, of developing empowering beliefs, emotional stability, and physical strength. There are countless statistics on the ravages of obesity for example on ones health, and emotional life. All those stats prove is what an overweight person already knows, it sucks being overweight. Your health is compromised daily, and many are emotionally exhausted from the reality of living in a smaller world as a larger person. You are treated with disdain more often than not, and people tend to see you from where you are, not for WHO you are! Living by Design and not Default is committed to helping you, change you. Not for anyone else, but for you to develop the empowering belief in your worth, your value to this world, and that through a healthy and fit lifestyle you can fulfill your ultimate purpose and destiny. A healthy lifestyle design is not magic. There are no secret exercises, or a newly discovered diet that kept the ancients lean and mean, and no hypnotic way to change the way you think. It is brutally hard word. The physical challenge of obesity is actually the easiest to change, it truly is. Form follows function. When you realize the human body was created to move, in such a multitude of ways, you will then accept that to heal the body, is to have it do what it is created to do, move. Your spiritual life is where your beliefs reside, your belief in God, and your belief in yourself, all provide a blueprint for how you see your world. The soul; the will, emotions, and the mind, is where the battle for your health, fitness, finances, and complete happiness is fought, especially in the emotions. Your eyes are what see your daily reality, it is through your heart where the vision, and scope of your destiny and purpose manifest for your lifetime. Designing Your Life follows three basic premises; 1.) Changing the way you think, which is ultimately influenced by what you believe. 2.) Learning how to control and use your emotions, rather than allowing your emotions to control you. 3.) Creating healthy habits for a lifetime including; daily activity and exercise, a nutritious diet, and excellent sleep. This process includes developing a system to become debt free, and investing in your future. Since the focus is a process of progress happiness is part of the process that YOU control. Happiness is free to be experienced in the process and not reserved for the outcome only. So I would ask you this question based on the scripture from John 10:10, I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly. Look at the sentence Jesus spoke, ask yourself which side of the comma do you want to live on? To simply have life, or to live life abundantly? What is your answer?
