Corporate Team Building
Effective Team Communications

In business it is always about teamwork among employees and managers. How one works within a team or manages a team to create efficient, energetic, and coexisting team members is how businesses are able to improve the work environment and their bottom line. Creative individuality inside a team setting is important to maintain and manage. Wayne provides guidance and insight on the creative touch of interacting with others in a team environment. He uses what he learned with over forty years in business and twenty five years as a business executive. He also brings his experience from teaching at the post graduate level. His experience and teaching in the communities of the disabled has also brought a well-rounded approach to his seminars and workshops. In the communities of the disabled, teamwork is a necessity for everyday life and success is never assured but only earned after overcoming many obstacles. This is a valuable lesson to everyone in all walks of life. The Goal of any team building exercises is that employees and managers know and understand the importance of teamwork in any organization or working environment and the importance not only to their future but to the future of the company or organization. Wayne has developed key training factors to assure that when employees or managers are completed with the seminar or workshop, they have the tools necessary to proceed and succeed in the future. Wayne’s Key Factors for success. These are only a sample of the items covered in Wayne’s seminars or workshops: Big Picture: • Understanding the goals, mission and purpose of you corporation • Why that is important to the success of the corporation • Why that is important to the success of the employee and manager Thumbnail: • Understanding the goals, mission, and purpose of your division, workgroup or committee • Why understanding the goals and mission is important to the members of the group and to the workgroups success • Why having you or your group understand the importance of the goals and mission is important to the corporation Group Items: • How to share ideas and your solutions that are not necessarily the same ideas or solutions of the other members of your group • How to present ideas that may or may not be popular with the members of the group • What tools are necessary to properly present ideas • Why it is important to assure that your idea or solution is heard, even over objections • What if your idea is not accepted, what do I do next • What if only a segment of your idea is accepted, what do I do next • What if my idea is accepted and it is a loser in the long run, what do I do next *These are only a few of the format items for the seminars and workshops. Seminars: Wayne provides to large and small groups. Because they are interactive, the time for the seminar varies depending on the size of the audience. A general breakdown is as follows: • 10 – 25 Attendees – 2 hours minimum • 25 – 50 Attendees: - 3 hours minimum • 50 – 100 Attendees – 4 hour minimum • Over 100 – Time quote provided Workshops: Wayne breaks all groups into smaller working groups and facilitates a hands on workshop where the employees and managers are directed through the process and develop solutions in their group. They then present their finding to all groups. Workshops generally have a four hour minimum. Type of Workshops: • Morning/Afternoon workshop (Four hours) • Educational Day (All day workshop) • Retreat Workshop ( two to three days of workshops) For more information on seminars and workshops, please contact me at wheidle@ketchum.edu or at 562-713-4188
