“Creating agile adaptive cultures comfortable with persistent change” Dr. Gary R. Coulton – Adaptive Intelligence Consulting Limited. UK Every busy leader today is “demand heavy” and “time poor” and it’s not going to change any time soon. A sense of constant pressure and being on the edge of control follows. Stress and its consequences including poor decision-making, toxic leadership and personal and organisation will health distract everyone from the goal of providing the highest quality clinical provision at affordable cost. Research shows that the stressed mind makes habit-based decisions often inappropriate to the given situation and this is where mistakes are made. Depending where in the organisation this occurs will determine if patients suffer and organisations miss their goals. This is a bleak picture but fortunately there is much that you and your organisation can do. The answer is to recognise and leverage more of your individual and organisational Adaptive Intelligence (AQ). AQ is the dynamic expression of your Analytical Intelligence (IQ), your Emotional Intelligence (EQ) and your internal motivation or Positive Intelligence (PQ). As situations change you use different qualities and relative proportions of IQ, EQ and PQ to respond appropriately and intentionally. You adapt in the moment to changing selection pressures exerted by your environment. At first this needs to be conscious but with non-judgemental curiosity and practice it becomes an embedded skill. This workshop will: 1. Introduce you to Adaptive Intelligence and how to leverage more of it. 2. Provide you with everyday practical tools to support behaviours that leverage more of your individual AQ and enhance your relationships with change and complexity. 3. Introduce scalable IT-based tools to engage all of your staff and clients that tap into the power of your “Crowd” to solve problems and create innovations. 4. Provide you with a five-step process supporting organisational behaviours which leverage shared AQ driving intentional re-invention and success.
