Rachel Greene has developed a groundbreaking workshop on Use of Intuition in Therapy and Healthcare. The objective of this course is to assist the therapist and healthcare professional in gaining a deeper understanding of how we receive information using self of therapist, the whole person, and intuition that is relevant to healthcare and the therapy process. Participants will learn how to understand and incorporate their full use of self when working with clients and/or patients. We will address getting out of our own way and allowing metaphors to emerge. Participants will explore the emotional world of the therapist and learn how to interpret intuitive information and discern which information is appropriate to share and of mutual benefit to the therapy/healthcare process as well as to the client/patient. This workshop will include: Understanding intuition and incorporating the brain research of Dr. Dan Siegel, M.D.; Collaborating with the client: will discuss when it's appropriate to share intuitive insights, metaphors and hypotheses with the client and examples of these; The practice of discernment; Discussion of client/patient examples and stories.
