Participants will learn: - The disconnect between what you say and what you do and how this impacts your performance. - Knowing Leadership vs. Being A Leader - What appears to be a "skills problem" is usually a "values solution.” - How to have an honest conversation and how it can add depth to all your relationships The leadership challenge in most organizations is not a lack of knowledge but rather a lack of behaviors that reflect their values. A majority of the time and energy spent by a manager are thoughts about managing people, (i.e., "Did Tom get the project done.") This micromanaging thought process and behavior, leave employees disengaged and upper management frustrated. Not being able to rely on someone's word creates an environment of little trust, poor communication, and unhappy people. The solution is to focus on 3 Values (Standards of Behavior) that will have everyone operating from the same system. Stop investing in skills training and reinforce the foundation (values) of your organization.
