Through these stories and strategies the audience learns how the dimensions of leadership can be used not only in baseball, but in all walks of life to help people cultivate their leadership skills and become Major League Leaders. You don’t need to be a baseball fan to become a Major League Leader as no matter what your industry or what your position, the lessons that are explored from the players and managers will help participants become better producers for their organizations. In addition to the signature keynote, Dr. Fero conducts keynotes, 1/2 day, and full day workshops based on each of the ten bases of leadership which are catered to the specific needs of the organization. The Ten Bases of Leadership 1. Find Your Passion - Be passionate about your cause and let others see your excitement. 2. Lead by Example - Set the tone for your organization and work with your team to throw the right pitch. 3. Earn Respect - For yourself, for those around you, and for the organization you are a part of. If you want others to follow your lead then you need to show them you can be trusted. 4. Cultivate Relationships - Get to know those around you on a deeper level so that they will want to work their hardest for you and your organization. 6. Support Your People - Let those around you know that you are loyal to them and will go to bat for them whenever necessary. 7. Communicate Effectively - Be clear with your message and listen closely when spoken to. 8. Know Your Game - Know your business, whatever it is. Become an expert in your domain. 9. Foster Teamwork - Teams which work together are stronger than individuals working alone.
