Applicants for disability benefits are initially denied at an astounding 70% rate. It isn't that they do not have valid claims, it's that they do not have all the information they need to prove disability to the satisfaction of the Social Security Administration. I know, I was one of them. It took me 18 months to win my case! I became angry at the bureaucratic "red tape" and decided to become an advocate. My goal then, and now, is to empower others with disabilities to win on their first application, rather than have to ordeal a long, and frustrating, appeals process. Believe it or not, there is an effective strategy for winning benefits on the first try. Of course, Social Security does not want that information readily available. But, if you fully understand what they want to see, winning no longer becomes the "impossible" process it is frequently marketed as. In this seminar/workshop, you will learn: The true definition of "disability"....it isn't what you think! What is meant by "doctor's support"....Hint: Having a doctor state you are disabled and cannot work doesn't cut it. The key connection between "symptoms" and "maintaining a job"....understand this and your application will make them listen! Why "hidden" disabilities are more difficult to win....and how to overcome those barriers. When you need an attorney, and when you probably don't. This presentation is also available as a keynote address, but is more suited to a workshop/seminar format.
