Terré is no stranger to change and she of all people knows that starting over can be the best and one of the most challenging things for any adult to do. On December 2, 2001, at the age of 27, after being fired from her job and suffering through the devastation of 9/11 Terré left New York and returned to her hometown of Cleveland, Ohio to start all over. At 31 she filed for bankruptcy. At 33 she returned to college to receive her teaching certification. At 37 she sold everything she had, moved to the Middle East to teach for the Emirate government. At 39 she was homeless and at 40 started all over again. This keynote shares Terré's personal journey, the steps she used and that anyone can use to "start over" after any many loss and the wisdom she's gained along the way. Audiences will be inspired, challenged, and summoned to take the broken pieces of their lives, be it divorce, layoffs, financial set-backs or whatever it may be and use those broken pieces to build the lives they I've always wanted and know they deserve.
