Workplace Bullying
Grab the Bullying by the Horns

Pat Schultz’s program, Grab the Bullying by the Horns, helps each member of the company join the effort to eradicate bullying from the workplace. Employees use examples, role playing, and digital media (1) to identify the chief characteristics of bullying, (2) to handle and stop bullying, and (3) to learn when management should be notified. In turn, managers and supervisors learn (1) to quash bullying, (2) to avoid being a bully and being perceived as a bully, and (3) to implement any company policy against bullying. Participants will: - Distinguish between bullying and permissible behaviors - Discover the hidden costs of bullying - Explore the adequacy of your company’s bullying policy - Discuss the legal ramifications of disciplinary procedures
