Professional Organizations
Professional organizations are a great way to learn new
skills, network with others in the industry, and find great
speaking opportunities. There are several major professional
organizations for speakers.
The
National Speakers Association (NSA) is the leading
organization for experts who speak professionally. NSA's 4,000
members include experts in a variety of industries and
disciplines, who reach audiences as trainers, educators,
humorists, motivators, consultants, authors and more. Since
1973, NSA has provided resources and education designed to
advance the skills, integrity and value of its members and

Toastmasters
International
is known as the number one source for Public Speaking
information. Their main goal is to help you become a better
speaker, thinker, listener and leader by exposing you to a
wide range of communication experiences. Includes lots of tips
and information about local chapters.

American Training and Seminars Association offers the
Certified Professional Trainer (CPT) certification. American
Training & Seminar Association provides a community for
professional speakers, corporate trainers, and seminar
providers. Members gain credibility through association,
training, and experience.
