Sharí started out as an actress at a young age. She carried her passion to college, where she was a theatre major. She later gained extra training at the University of London and studied under directors from the Globe Theatre. She then ventured into the actorʼs life. It was then that she soon realized the term "starving actor" was meant to be taken literally.
Sharí founded Presenting Matters when she discovered her unique ability to combine her theatrical background with a marketing perspective and influential communication techniques. This is how she has helped so many organizations increase revenues, productivity, and employee morale. She is a professional speaker, corporate communications consultant, and speech and presentation coach.
She has worked with Monster.com’s “Making it Count” Program and has been named the 2007 Emerging High Impact Professional Speaker by the National Speakers Association-OK. Sharí is now the current president for NSA-Oklahoma and was awarded the National Speakers Association Chapter Member of the Year, an unprecedented two years consecutively. She has been recognized as one of the 2008 Tulsa Top 40 Under 40. Her articles on effective presentations and communication have been featured in Presentations Magazine, Training Magazine, and Councilor Magazine - an now has a regular column for SPEAKER Magazine. Her clients have included Fortune 500 companies, an Emmy Award Winning executive, an NFL football player, an ESPN announcer, and the Biggest Loser ever on NBC’s The Biggest Loser.
