Sean Douglas is an United States Air Force veteran, a certified Master Resilience Trainer, Motivational/Inspirational Speaker, and Author. He enlisted in the Air Force in 2001 right after 9/11, has been deployed to multiple locations, and performed a multitude of duties all over the world. Sean gives many speeches throughout the year on leadership topics, such as Developing Leaders, Leadership Principles, laws of Leadership, Team Building, and Stages of Team Forming. His leadership expeirence stems from many years as a Drill Instructor for U.S. Air Force Basic Training where he developed over 600 young men and women into military leaders. He also talks about Self-Defeating Behaviors, Decisions, and Overcoming Adversity. As a Master Resilience Trainer, he teaches the following skillsets: Counting Blessings, Accomplishing Goals, ABC (Activating Event, Brain's Interpretation, Consequences), Check Your Playbook, Balance Your Thinking, Acceptance, Capitalizing On Strengths, Physical Resilience, Spiritual Resilience, Interpersonal Problem Solving, and Good Listening & Active Constructing Responding.
Sean's passion is Resilience and inspiring others to succeed. His enthusiasm and passion is unmatched! In December of 2008, Sean almost took his own life because of his drinking and negative thinking. He has since recovered and turned to God for healing, and through his faith, helps others before they travel down that dark road. Sean has been married to his beautiful wife Candi since 2007, have three children, and two dogs.
Sean speaks at high schools, youth camps, churches, associations, conferences, and many other events where motivation and inspiration to get moving is needed. He speaks at two youth camps a year in North Carolina, where he collaborated on the curriculum currently used in that program.
