A former scientist and attorney, Robert uses humor and story to weave together multifaceted ideas like freedom and fatherhood, into entertaining and memorable presentations. It's what the best teachers do. His latest keynote is titled: The Courage to See Clearly. Its timely message arises from the inspirational story of two brothers from Dayton, Ohio, who, without benefit of formal education, invented a world-changing technology. Often taken for granted today, our surviving World War II veterans had the good fortune to witness aviation's early achievements, and to participate in the transition from wartime to peacetime commercialization.
Robert grew up in northern Ohio in the 1950's and 60's. He is the father of an Iraq War veteran and the son of a World War II and Korean War veteran. He is also an author and a Grecophile. Always captivated by the inspirational power of wings, his latest novel is titled, Icarus and the Wing Builder. Drawing from this wellspring of ancient wisdom the author reimagines the myth, creating a page turning adventure based in hope and the power of the imagination.
