Richard P. Himmer, PhD
Dr. Richard P. Himmer is a coach (personal, corporate, couples), a credentialed
hypnotherapist, an Emotional Intelligence consultant, and a powerful, popular public
speaker. The challenges of losing a father at age 10 and raising his siblings created a
perception of life that didn’t translate into happiness. So Richard set about transforming
himself. He did it by taking his life experiences, assimilated them into progressive models
and applied them personally.
Richard is now fortunate to see these principles work over and over again in his client's
lives. His seminars, workshops, and speaking engagements take 30+ years of corporate,
business, and personal experience and assimilates it all into a one hour to 3day
experience of insights that transform lives. You will experience intense personal growth
and a renewed passion for your work and life. Every relationship you have can and will be
healthier than you imagined possible when you follow his models and principles. And the
first relationship on the ticket is with YOU.
Dr. Himmer inspires by modeling transformation and integration. His first book “Listen &
Lead” exemplifies his commitment to lifelong learning and has been used by thousands
to change one experience at a time, making success and fulfillment possible and probable.
Lives and marriages are still alive not to mention the transformation of teams and
increased revenue because of his book and teachings.
Through the power of an adaptive and integrative presentation, Dr. Himmer motivates
and facilitates his audiences to desire to do more, serve more, and be more for themselves
and the people they serve.
Hailing from the town of Gig Harbor, in the beautiful state of Washington, Richard spends
his free time keeping physically fit by running, biking, kayaking, and being with his five
sons, four daughtersinlaw and eight grandchildren. He has an absolute love and
devotion to his family, especially to Cheri, his bride of 34 years.
He received his Bachelor’s degree from Brigham Young University, his MBA from City
University, his masters in psychology and his PhD in Industrial/Organizational
psychology from Walden University.
