As a child, Pete struggled with the very necessities of life because of a transient lifestyle due to his mother’s serious mental illness. He was left alone or with his younger sister on several occasions — forced to find food wherever he could. Both Pete and his sister were put into foster care where they were permanently separated.
Because of this his upbringing Pete never learned about nutrition and exercise and as an adult tipped the scales at over 416lbs. He appeared on Season 2 of NBC’s The Biggest Loser and lost 83lbs while on the show and 102lbs on his own at home. He has not only maintained that weight loss for over a decade but the show’s Producers consider him NBC’s Most Successful Biggest Loser in the history of the franchise.
Through determination and by practicing the principles he teaches today, Pete overcame his childhood and developed into a serial entrepreneur and has founded successful companies in the IT and Real Estate industries. For nearly 2 decades Pete has been coaching and developing individuals through his personally designed training programs.
Across America Pete assists corporations to Touch, Train and Transform (tm) leaders, teams and individuals in the areas of self-leadership, goal setting, team work and wellness.

Pete uses daily discipline to maintain a mindset of success. And on occasion he completes some really cool athletic events including:
100 mile bike races, Ragnar Relays, numerous half-marathons, a full marathon and 2 Olympic Distance Triathlons in San Francisco Bay - watch out sharks, here comes Pete. Pete is also a recipient of The Governor's Council on Physical Fitness Award in the state of Michigan.
Pete is also the author of the book, “Lose It Fast Lose It Forever: A 4-Step Permanent Weight-Loss Plan from the Most Successful ‘Biggest Loser’ of All Time” published by Penguin Books.
Pete has appeared in magazines such as O - The Oprah Magazine, People, InTouch Weekly, Real Health and Runners World. Pete has made appearances on radio stations across the country and on numerous television shows such as ABC’s The View, eXtra, The 700 Club and ABC’s 20/20 to name a few. He appears as a regular television participant on Detroit TV on The Professionals panel on “Live in The D” on WDIV TV Channel 4. In addition, Pete is a commercial actor and voice over talent and has appeared in commercials nationwide.
Having spent time homeless and in and out of foster care as a youth gives Pete a special heart for those in similar circumstances. He gives his time, talents and treasure in support of the organizations who minister to and reach out to youth and the homeless with shelter, foster care and adoption services.
