Mollie Marti is a resilience researcher, professional speaker, author, and educator. Her mission is crystal clear: mentor leaders to thrive and serve. Known for her fierce vision of hope and wholeness, she educates and inspires audiences internationally in the areas of resiliency, servant leadership, community building, and business ethics.
Trained as both a social psychologist and lawyer with a background in communications, Mollie brings years of experience in motivation, peak performance, and resilience to her teaching. She has directed an academic research unit, taught university psychology, and delivered innovative events through her own educational companies.
Her newest book, Walking with Justice: Uncommon Lessons from One of Life’s Greatest Mentors, has been welcomed into homes, schools, business organizations, and places of worship as “a timeless handbook for being human.” She also is the author of numerous academic articles and The 12 Factors of Business Success: Discover, Develop, and Leverage Your Strengths (Wiley), which has been translated into 8 languages.

For the past 3 years, Dr. Marti has played a pivotal role in helping communities and schools recover from the devastation of teen suicide. She currently serves as CEO of the non-profit National Resilience Institute, dedicated to empowering communities to grow resilient youth. As part of this work, she has developed a Model of Resiliency and numerous toolkits to help communities strengthen their members. She hosts the cable television show Resiliency Matters, providing resiliency strategies, tips, and tools to parents, teachers, and other youth builders.
With her unique ability to combine the science of success with the art of exceptional living, Mollie frequently serves as a media and educational resource. She lives on a working apple orchard in scenic northeast Iowa with her husband, their three children, and large family of pets.
