Biography

Mara Woloshin, MA, APR, Fellow PRSA, www.woloshin.com, is one of the few training and speaking marketers in the Pacific Northwest with a depth of knowledge in federal regulation of all kinds, especially government health plan marketing compliance. She has been consulting and training adult audiences on marketing to Aging America for over a decade. In addition to her full-service agency, she has taught marketing and public relations at Oregon universities since 1989. In 2006 and 2007, Mara was the Oregon and Washington spokeswoman for the launching of Medicare Part D during George W. Bush's administration.

Mara has been reaching and interactively teaching audiences with gentle humor combined with “how-to” handouts and interactive exercises that participants can immediately take back and utilize in their workplace. She was a trainer for TACS (now the Nonprofit Association of Oregon), on various topics from 1995 – 2001.
