In January 2000, he learned on the same night that his wife was pregnant with their first child and that he had a tumor. Leveraging his experience working with thousands of leaders on 5 continents, and with his business partner, he co-authored a best selling book on change for leaders, Perfect Phrases for Communicating Change (McGraw-Hill). This book focuses on practical strategies that his clients to use to success in the real world. Lawrence knows there really is no perfect phrase however the approaches in the book are laid out to give leaders frameworks to think about the issues that need to be discussed during change.
