Jessika M. A. Rovell is the founder and director of JMAR Unlimited, LLC. As a sexual assault and domestic violence survivor, she shares her compelling story in an inspiring, relatable, and at times humorous way. Via her training, speaking, consulting, and writing engagements, Jessika cultivates awareness and empowers others to end sexual violence, support survivors, and seek their own unlimited potential.
In 2002, Jessika enlisted in the United States Navy Reserve as an intelligence specialist. She was commissioned as an intelligence officer in 2005 and has served in support of elements including the Defense Intelligence Agency, the Joint Staff, the Defense Technology Security Administration, the Chief of Naval Operations, and the Office of Naval Intelligence. In addition to her regular duties, Jessika also volunteers as a Sexual Assault Prevention and Response - Victim Advocate.
As a licensed attorney, Jessika works for the federal government in Washington, DC. She began her legal career in private practice in 2003, litigating general commercial and employment law matters in Philadelphia, PA.
Jessika holds a B.A. in history and minors in English and political science from The Pennsylvania State University. She received her J.D. from Rutgers School of Law - Camden, and an M.A. in homeland security from American Military University. She resides in Alexandria, VA.
