Biography

Jerry Grossman began his news career in 1963 working as a summer intern at the United States Information Agency for Edward R. Murrow. After working two years at the New York Daily News in their Washington bureau, he spent close to 30 years at WUSA-TV, the CBS affiliate in Washington, D.C., where he produced the 6pm and 11pm newscasts and documentaries, receiving five Emmy Awards. While at WUSA-TV, he also served as executive producer and assistant news director. Jerry then spent 13 years as a supervising producer at the Newseum, the museum for news in Washington, D.C. At the Newseum, he produced numerous projects, documentaries and exhibits.
