Dr. Fred R. Lybrand

Dr. Fred Lybrand has been called America's Solutions Evangelist, but prefers the term "Solutions Enthusiast." His talent for systems redesign, and strategic communication, and leader mentoring have been employed by Marathon Oil, Burlington Resources, Protrader, Pioneer Natural Resources, Chick-Fil-A, State Farm Insurance, and most recently the United States Air Force. He is the creator of Solutions Crafting: The Genius of Going Beyond Problem Solving, a powerful strategy to replace band-aid fixes with permanent solutions.
Dr. Lybrand has degrees and certifications which include such diverse things as English Literature, Speech Communications, Structural Dynamics, Fiction Writing, numerous personality instruments, Counseling, and Organizational Re-design. He is a founding partner of TrimTab Solutions, an Energy Industry leadership coaching firm.

Distinctions included his Organizational Consultant Certifiation with Robert Fritz, Inc. Dr. Lybrand is also the author of six books and \The Writing Course, a sound-based curriculum for teaching children to write well without knowing the rules of grammar or punctuation. As an educator and non-profit consultant, Dr. Lybrand has served on the founding boards of a Classical model private school and an International Christian Leadership Alliance.
Lybrand has been married to Jody White Lybrand, his college sweetheart, for 29 years. They have five children: Tripp, Laura, Forrest, Holmes, and Brooks. Jody has a master’s degree in early childhood education and does the larger share of the home-education for the Lybrand gang, all of whom have been schooled at home from birth to college. Dr. Lybrand foundational emphasis is that you can't start with perfect in creating anything viable, but that understanding the structures and systems involved is the key to lasting success.
